Can air kill people?

    No one would have thought about we kill people while driving a car or switching on the conditioner. As of a recent report, the air pollution in India is accountable for 16.7 lakh deaths. If you think automobiles are the major cause of air contamination, you will never be wrong but, the power-producing plants burn so much black fuel to power your mobile phones, indoor conditioners, etc.

    Since middle and north India has no possibility of water bodies they are subjected to high risk for death. The productivity measure, GDP has also been dragged down by 1.4% due to the huge exploitation of nature's gift. Uttar Pradesh, leading the table losing almost 2.2% of GSDP followed by Bihar for 2%.

    Climate change has been a huge threat to the world for so many decades. Divided by so many united by calamity. Air pollution killed 16.7 lakh Indians accounting for 18% of total deaths in a couple of decades since 1990, resulting in a loss of ₹2.6lakh crore (The Hindu).
